Toxic Home cleaning products are known to disrupt Hormones

Recent studies have shown that the air quality inside your home is far worse than outside your home.

Sounds crazy right?! The reason is that most people are totally unaware of how many toxic products they use on a daily basis. Your skin is your biggest organ so everything you put on it gets absorbed. From the water in the shower, your makeup, perfume, etc. You also have household cleaning products that are FULL of toxins.

The reason why these toxic home cleaning chemicals are of concern is the fact that they have a negative effect on our endocrine system:

  • Thyroid function
  • Nervous system
  • Reproduction
  • Digestion (affecting the absorption or utilization of vitamins and minerals)
  • Insulin function

Another recent study showed that people who clean houses for a living have lungs that look like those of people who have smoked 20 cigarettes a day for their entire life. That’s pretty scary!  ⁣It’s a lot more simple than you think to ditch some of the everyday household cleaners that you use and replace them with natural ones.

Chemicals you want to avoid in cleaning products are:

  • Cyclosiloxanes
  • Glycol Ethers
  • Phthalates
  • Parabens
  • Alkylphenols
  • Ethanolamides
  • Bisphenol
  • Triclosan
